基于凹凸组合的一类洛伦兹曲线模型

为了统计和分析一个国家和地区的收入分配情况,经济学界往往通过入户调查获得家庭收入与消费等数据,采用洛伦兹曲线模型来进行数据拟合.洛伦兹曲线模型拟合效果的好坏,直接影响着收入分配的描述.本文构建了一类凹凸组合的洛伦兹曲线模型,并针对19个国家的收入分配数据进行了实证分析.结果显示该模型具有较好的拟合效果,其基尼系数能较好地描述收入分配现状,对反映和监测居民之间的贫富差距具有重要意义.     

Is econophysics a new discipline? The neopositivist argument

Econophysics is a new approach which applies various models and concepts associated with statistical physics to economic (and financial) phenomena. This field of research is a new step in the history and the evolution of Physics Sciences and the question about the disciplinary characteristics of this field must be asked. At first glance, it might appear that economics and econophysics share the same subject of research (that of analysis of economic reality). In this paper I will use neopositivism to show that econophysics is methodologically very different from economics and that it can be considered as a separate discipline. The neopositivist framework provides econophysics with some arguments for rejecting mainstream economics.     

On the Monotonicity of the Compromise Set in Multicriteria Problems

This paper discusses the extension of results on monotonicity of the compromise set valid for bicriteria problems to general multicriteria problems under a very general condition, which is assumable in compromise programming problems coming from economics. Mainly, the problem that we treat is the following: find and describe the compromise set when the feasible set is a convex set in the positive cone, limited by a level hypersurface of a differentiable production–transformation function. This scenario is usual in many economic applications, chiefly in production analysis.     

Crossing w = -1 in Gauss-Bonnet Brane World with Induced Gravity

Recent type Ia supernovas data seemingly favor a dark energy model whose equation of state w(z) crosses -1 very recently, which is a much more amazing problem than the acceleration of the universe. In this paper we show that it is possible to realize such a crossing without introducing any phantom component in a Gauss-Bonnet brane world with induced gravity, where a four-dimensional curvature scalar on the brane and a five-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk are present. In this realization, the Gauss-Bonnet term and the mass parameter in the bulk play a crucial role.
